What we collect and why
Enquiries. When you send an enquiry through the form on this website, we receive: the tour you’re interested in (and the option, if you chose one), your name, your phone number and/or email address, your preferred date, optionally your group type, number of people and a comment, the language of the page and the page you sent it from. We use this only to answer your enquiry and to prepare a proposal for your tour. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), with your consent when you send the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Phone, email and WhatsApp. If you contact us directly, we use your details in the same way, to answer you. If you choose WhatsApp, your message is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
We don’t sell your data and don’t use it for marketing without asking you first.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are deleted automatically 12 months after we receive them. If your enquiry leads to a booking, we keep the details needed for the booking and invoicing for as long as Polish law requires.
Who processes it for us
Our website and email are hosted by OVH (OVH Sp. z o.o. / OVHcloud), on servers in the European Union. They process data only on our behalf. We don’t transfer your data outside the European Economic Area, except when you choose to contact us through WhatsApp.
Cookies
The website uses only cookies that are needed for it to work: a cookie that remembers your language choice (pll_language) and, for our own staff, the login cookies of the site administration. We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies. To see which pages are visited, we use Koko Analytics, which runs on our own website: it counts visits without cookies, doesn’t store IP addresses and shares no data with anyone.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to TripAdvisor, Facebook and Google. When you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn’t affect what we did before). Write to info@activekrakowtours.com and we’ll answer within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to enquiries is limited to us.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
