About the tour
The Kraków Mounds bear witness to the city’s greatness. The legendary mounds of Kraków’s founder, Prince Krakus, and his daughter Wanda are among the oldest traces of the city’s beginnings. Later mounds were raised to honour Polish heroes and historic events, among them the Kościuszko Mound, a highlight of this tour.
By bike we visit three of Kraków’s five mounds: the oldest, raised in the 7th century, the Kościuszko Mound from the 19th century, and one of the youngest, from the 20th. Each has its own story, linked to a different moment in Polish history, and each gives you a breathtaking view of the city from a new angle.
